Sunday 22nd June sees the final day of Somersham Carnival 2014, and as usual it ends with the Family Cycle Ride, and the 5-a-side Football Tournament.

Family Cycle Ride – 10:45am to 1pm

With registration at Victory Hall Car Park at 10:45am, join other cyclists as they set off on a 4.4 mile route at 11am.

Entry is £1 per rider, and there are trophies awarded for those who complete the Most Laps in the Allotted Time for Junior (12 & under), and Senior cyclists.

Please make sure that you wear a cycle helmet and high-visibility clothing. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

5-a-side Football Tournament – 1:30pm

Register at 1:30pm for a 2pm kick-off a the Parkhall Road Playing Field on 22nd June, for the 5-a-side Football Tournament for school years 3-8.

After Somersham celebrates Carnival Day on Saturday, there will still be one day of activities left to go!

Family Cycle Ride

The Family Cycle Ride starts at 11am at Victory Hall (10:45 registration), running until 1pm. The circuit is 4.4 miles. Download the 2013 Family Cycle Ride map (PDF).

At £1 per entry, trophies will be awarded for the most laps in the allotted time for 12 & Under, Junior, and Senior.

Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. In the interest of safety, please wear your cycle helmet and high visibility clothing.

Refreshments available.

Senior Pool Competition

The Centurian Club sees players aged 16 or over compete in the heats of the Senior Pool Competition. Starting at 2.30pm, with a £1 entrance fee. Entrants are still welcome.

5-a-side Football Tournament

From 2pm at Parkhall Road Playing Field, a 5-a-side football tournament takes place for footballers in school years 3 to 8. There’s a £1.50 entry fee. Advance booking is essential – contact Ali McCormick on 07425 178839.
