TV star Denise Black to perform at this year’s Somersham Carnival

Actress and singer, Denise Black is set to perform at Carnival Day on 22nd June.

Actress and singer Denise Black will join us for Carnival Day.

Best known as character Denise Osbourne in Coronation Street, and Hazel Tyler in Queer As Folk, Denise will be performing with her pop-folk band Denise Black’s Loose Screw.

Denise Black’s Loose Screw will be performing at The Victory Hall as part of the Seaside Rock Concert, which runs from 7.30pm on 22nd June at the end of Carnival Day. She will be supported by Dark Surrender (who performed at the Carnival last year), Gary Bailey/Waves Of Digitalis, and The Makers.

Tickets are £5 in advance (at carnival events), or £7 on the door. There will be a licensed bar. Over 18s only.


About Somersham Carnival

Somersham Carnival is a week long festival of community events, culminating with a grand procession through our lovely village on Carnival Day (usually the 3rd Saturday in June). People of all ages enjoy dressing up, running stalls, live music and entertainments and simply coming together. Join us!
